Every order on Forge and Guild includes Buyer Protection. A small fee, paid by you at checkout, keeps your money safe until your order arrives exactly as promised.
Payment held securely
Your payment is held securely until your item is delivered — the seller doesn't receive it upfront.
2 days to report a problem
Once your item is marked as delivered, you have a 2-day window to report any problem with it.
Full refund if things go wrong
You get a full refund if your item doesn't arrive, or if it's significantly not as described.
Disputes handled by us
If something goes wrong, the Forge and Guild team handles the dispute fairly between you and the seller.
Sellers paid after the window closes
Sellers are only paid once the 2-day reporting window has closed with no problem reported.
How the fee works
The Buyer Protection fee is shown with every price across the site and as a separate line at checkout for each shop you order from. Sellers always receive 100% of the item price plus postage — the fee is what funds your protection, refunds and dispute handling.
